Honoring Service: Church & Community Scholarship Opportunity

Are you a student who goes above and beyond in serving your church and community?

We are pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity to two deserving high school graduates or currently enrolled college students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to church involvement and community service.

This scholarship recognizes young individuals whose faith in action has made a real difference—whether through church ministries, outreach programs, volunteer work, or leadership in community service initiatives.

Eligibility:

  • Open to high school graduates and currently enrolled college students

  • Must show a strong record of church participation and meaningful community service

How to Apply:

  • Applications are available at the Church office

Deadline:
All applications must be hand-stamped by Cleo Stoucker or received by mail no later than 5:00 PM on May 30.

Award Announcement:
Recipients will be announced by June 16.

Philoptochos Lowcountry Luncheon

Savor shrimp & grits while hearing from community partner WakeUp Carolina about how they’re fighting back against our nation’s substance misuse epidemic.

Workshop Sessions

Join us for a series of workshops on a broad range of topics including grant writing, cyber security, endowment planning, Orthodox homeschooling, and more, offering key insights and strategies to improve parish collaboration, effectiveness, and overall well-being.

Thomas Heyward Jr. House

Enjoy cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres on Friday evening at the historic 1803 Adams-style home and formal gardens of Thomas Heyward, Jr., Revolutionary War leader and signer of the Declaration of Independence.

Young Adult League

Participants will explore ways to deepen their faith and strengthen connections with Christ and the Church community in both structured and informal settings.
